LIGA PERDANA: JDT II 4 - T-TEAM 1
JDT II took full advantage of playing on their own ground to beat T-Team 4-1 at the Pasir Gudang Stadium. The win moved them up to 4th in the Premier League standings with 27 points from 16 matches.
Mohd Shafiq Shaharuddin put JDT II ahead with the opening goal in the 14th minutes. T-Team's new signing, Tomislav Busic equalised for the visitors from the penalty spot seven minutes later.
JDT II increased their game and took control of the match. Skipper Shahril Ishak regained the lead a minute before the break for JDT II.
JDT II pressed the visitors harder in the second half. Just three minutes after the restart, Baihakki Khaizan gave his side their third goal of the night.
T-Team could not find the right tempo to overcome the confident home side. Mohd Akmal Ishak found the net in the 61st minute to put JDT II 4-1 up. JDT II cruised to win the match and kept their promotion dream alive.
