LIGA PERDANA: PKNS 2 - JDT II 0
PKNS FC kept themselves close to the Premier League leaders Kedah and T-Team. The Red Ants have narrowed down the gap with the top two teams after a 2-0 win over Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca on Tuesday.
Liberian hotshot Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh (10th) and Pedro Henrique (43rd) scored for PKNS to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
Third-placed PKNS, with 30 points, are ahead of Penang on goal difference as the race for the title and Super League promotion heads into the last five matches. Only the top two teams will advance.
