Two goals from Diego Forlan help Uruguay to a 3-0 victory over South Africa. The result pushes the World Cup hosts closer to becoming the first to go out in the first round.
Forlan first scored from a deflected 25m shot in the 24th minute and converted a penalty in the 80th minute to give Uruguay their first World Cup win since 1990.
Alvaro Pareira added a third goal in injury time, heading the ball of his knee and into the net from Luis Suarez's cross. Uruguay now has 4 points from two games in Group A.
South Africa goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune was sent off for giving away the penalty when he tipped Suarez in the area in the 79th minute.
