Ndumba Makeche, Ahmad Syamim and Edward Wilson Jr were in the starting line-up but they failed to find the net despite the team's domination.

Lions came on in the second half with a more organized tactic. They had their best chance came in the 64th minute, but Amri's swerving free-kick was denied by the bar.

Four minutes later, The Fighters had another good opportunity. Makeche launched a powerful shot but was saved by the outstretched leg of the Lions' goalkeeper.
