JDT found their most needed goal in the 28th minute when Luciano Figueroa curled a free kick to beat Farizal Harun. The goal gave JDT the equalizer to the overall semi-final score, with the advantage of the three away goals scored in Selayang.
As usual, The Fighters did not give up easily. Raimi found the net ten minutes before the break after receiving a beautiful pass from Ndumba Makeche. And they were back into the game.
JDT headed into the second half with the same objective. Figueroa found the net again in the 63rd minute after playing a good combination with Diaz. Diaz turned provider again 10 minutes later, when he released Amri Yahyah with a short through pass at the edge of the box. Amri did finely by chipping the ball over Farizal to make it 3-1 to JDT.
