RED GIANTS PUSH TITLE RACE TO THE FINAL DAY

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SELANGOR 3 - SARAWAK 0

The Malaysia Super League Champions will be decided after the last match of the top two teams.

At Shah Alam Stadium, Selangor kept their title chase alive after earning a crucial win over Sarawak with 3-0 score. JDT had beaten Kelantan earlier in a match at Larkin Stadium.

Paulo Rangel, who had just returned from a two match suspension proved that he is the best striker in the league. The Brazilian opened the scoring in the 42nd minutes to give the Red Giants the lead.

As the match resumed for the second half, Rangel found the net again after receiving a fine cross from Andik Vermansyah.

Selangor were in complete control after that goal. Ahmad Hazwan Bakri makes it three for Selangor with a fine touch in 64th minutes.

The Red Giants remain in second position in the league table, just one point behind JDT. JDT will play Sarawak at Kuching while Selangor will be taking PKNS at Shah Alam on Tuesday for the title decider.
