David Villa has completed his move to Barcelona, signing a four-year contract at the Nou Camp after passing his medical on Friday. Barca paid Valencia €40m to secure their first capture of what is expected to be a summer lavish spending for the La Liga champions.
Villa, top scorer in Spain's triumphant Euro 2008 campaign, is now relishing the challenge that lies ahead. He has scored 107 goals in 166 league matches for Valencia after first establishing himself with Real Zaragoza, and is hoping goals will continue to fly in his new club.
