AC MILAN HOPES BECKS TO STAY LONGER

AC Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti would like to see David Beckham extend his two-month loan deal at the San Siro but admits that is an unlikely prospect. The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is in Italy in order to maintain match fitness during the American close-season as he bids to remain in the England reckoning.

Beckham is set to return to Galaxy on 9th March for the start of the MLS campaign but Ancelotti hopes the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star will remain in Europe. However, according to Beckham's spokesman, Simon Oliveira, recently stated that the 33-year-old will definitely leave after two months, to honour his agreement with Galaxy.
